In Portland, hundreds of young people age out of foster care each year — many without stable housing or support and end up on our streets.
Bridgetown1821.org exists to change that. We provide sponsored housing, mentorship, and community connections so every youth can cross the bridge from foster care to independence with dignity, stability, and hope.
Our mission is simple: a bridge, not a cliff — housing hope for youth aging out of care.
