Our Program

Building the Bridge from Foster Care to Adulthood

What You Can Expect

When youth in Oregon age out of foster care at 18, they often lose the only stable home they’ve known.

Bridgetown1821 steps in to bridge that gap — offering housing, life coaching, and community support that help young adults thrive between 18 and 21.

Our program isn’t about starting over; it’s about continuity — helping youth remain with the trusted families and coaches who already know them.

Sponsored Housing

We believe home is more than a roof — it’s a relationship.

Whenever possible, we keep youth in their current foster or host homes through direct monthly stipends that allow caregivers to continue providing support without financial strain.

These sponsored homes provide stability, safety, and a familiar foundation as youth take their first steps into adulthood.

Coaching & Life Skills

Each young person in our program is paired with a life coach who helps them develop the skills most of us learn at home — budgeting, job readiness, emotional regulation, and navigating adult life.
 readiness.

Community Integration

We connect youth with education and training programs, peer networks, and community service opportunities — helping them build confidence, purpose, and belonging. readiness.
